Right-Wing Hypocrisy on Airport Security

It’s always a lose-lose situation for the Democrats when it comes to nearly every situation.  When the George W. Bush regime conducted illegal wire-taps and imprisoned terrorist suspects at their whim, it was considered unpatriotic and even treasonous to go against the grain.  Now we’re being bombarded with “outrage” from those on the Right because of recent upgrades in airport security.

“Nine-eleven changed everything,” was the Bush administration‘s mantra.  Now we have those on the Right “whinning” about their rights.  Where was this “outrage” during the Bush regime?  We’ve heard those on the Right interjecting the 4th & 14th Amendments to the Constitution.  The Constitution they had no regards for when Bush & Company were in power.  The 4th Amendment guards against unreasonable searches and seizures while the 14th Amendment will not allow any State to deprive life, liberty or property without due process.  Neither of these Amendments are violated under current airport security policies and procedures.

It’s not the Constitution that these whinny Right-Wingers are concerned about.  Let’s not be coy.  Their concern is focused on being “anti-everything” proposed by the Obama administration.  And while I’m thinking about it, let’s all pray that Sarah Palin never becomes President.  We just might preemptively attack South Korea…or Canada!
